Ducks Smoke Green Bowls... I Mean Bowling Green!

Week One of Duck football is in the books and we looked pretty damn good... after looking bad for awhile. Quick synopsis: Herbert is god, Fat Mac is hungry and missing a couple of fingers, we have 0 and I mean 0 receivers, and our o-line is better than your d-line!

We make our picks for next week and, of course, wrap it all up with a discussion of 1921 webfoot football!

How high is your Herbert hype?

We are so freaking close to Duck football that we thought it was about time we bring in someone who knows what they're talking about. The knowledgeable writer hythloday decided to stop by the pod and answer our uninformed questions about Herbert. offensive line play, Tony Brooks-James and the work that goes into writing his world famous ATQ pieces.

We also take one guess each at his secret identity. His answer wont surprise you.

Also, we talk 1920 webfoot football!

How much do we really hate the Beavers?

Do we take more pleasure out of a Beavers’ World Series win or a loss?I know one thing, as long as they keep giving us that late season win in football, I really don’t mind them all that much.

Speaking of sibling rivalry, a lot of brothers on this year’s team. Also, will we ever have another great concert at Autzen? And we officially renounce our rivalry with Johnny PDX for our own safety.

Then we wrap it all up by talking 1912 football!

Did we learn anything from the spring game? Jump on the duck softball hype train!

In what seems to be a recurring theme this year, the men’s teams are underachieving while the women’s teams are taking over the world!

The Duck softball team beat the No. 2 Oklahoma Sooners and then swept the sorry Stanford softball team. On the other hand, the baseball team stood no chance against their old rival from Corvallis.

Also, how meaningless are Spring Game results on a scale from 1 to 10? We’ll discuss at length, because Spring Football is better than no football!
